The transition from being a teen into being a grown up isn't always easy.
Did you know...
teenagers need a lot of sleep (9-10 hours/night)
may need help with emotional balance
mental health challenges can become apparent during this time
are going through a lot of hormonal & physical changes
but most importantly...
Their brain is trimming unnecessary connections in order to increase the efficiency of information processing; more intricately folding
So, when should your teen see a qualified chiropractor?
As soon as possible, but especially if they are experiencing:
headaches/migraines
back pain
difficulty concentrating in school
involvement in sports
Not only does getting these issues resolved help your child, but also helps destress the care givers.
"But doc, my child is perfect." To which I say, "Wonderful!"
We can also be a part of your pediatric care team, assisting throughout your child's life as they go through many stages of growth & development-quite rapidly the first few years of life,
